year I was born: Cazuza died, Ayrton Senna won the championship of Formula 1, Germany won his 3rd world title at the World Cup, Flamengo won the first time the Brazil Cup, The Hubble Space Telescope was launched to space... you know what year I was born?

In the year I was born there the following facts: 1) Pope John Paul II arrives in Rio de Janeiro for his third visit to Brazil. 2) On January 25: The actor Guilherme de Padua is sentenced to 19 years in prison for the murder of actress Daniella Perez in 1992
3) On January 28: The re-election amendment is approved in the first round by 336 votes in favor, 17 against and 6 abstentions by the House of Representatives
4) On March 7: The Rio de Janeiro, candidate city to host the Summer Olympics of 2004, is eliminated by the International Olympic Committee
5) On April 4 - In Brazil, the Senate approved the amendment in the second round which allows re-election of mayors, governors and president.
6) On April 15 - The MST puts 40,000 people in the streets of Brasilia in protest against the government of Fernando Henrique Cardoso.
